What Is Venereology?
Venereology is the medical field concerned with diagnosing and managing sexually transmitted infections and related genital or mucocutaneous conditions. A genital rash, ulcer or growth is not automatically caused by one specific condition — medical assessment matters because appearance alone doesn’t always establish a diagnosis.

What Is Leprosy?
Leprosy, also known as Hansen disease, is a chronic infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium leprae that primarily affects the skin and peripheral nerves. It does not spread through casual contact such as shaking hands or sharing meals, and is curable with multidrug therapy.
